Pomegranate Raita


I love curd as much as I love water. Give me a bowl full of curd and I don’t need anything else for the meal. I made this raita as an accompaniment to the spicy caramelized onion pilaf whose recipe will be coming soon in another post. Enjoy the rest of the weekend!


  • Thick plain yogurt – 1 cup
  • Pomegranate kernel – 1/2 cup
  • Masala boondi – 1/2 cup
  • Black salt – to taste
  • Paprika – to taste
  • Water – 1/3 cup


Whisk yogurt for a couple of minutes using a spatula. Add water and mix again. Add in all the ingredients and serve chilled.IMG_5256
